I am not under any silly illusion that using a penis pump can cause any real long term penis enlargement (which I do not need anyway). However, I use a pump because the action of drawing blood into the penis and swelling it up is very good exercise for the membranes and blood vessels of the penis, thereby improving erectile function. It also makes the penis look good (bigger, thicker and healthier) for a while after use. Good if you're an exhibitionist like me.
